Our home owners insurance was slated to go up almost $1K at the end of this year, little to our knowledge because insurance companies don’t like to advertise such things. Had it been left up us and our current insane schedules, we wouldn’t have taken notice until it was already too late and the policy automatically renewed. That would have meant a huge escrow shortage for the year as well as a huge jump in our monthly payments. But luckily, Catt was on it and got us into a new policy with a new company with a very minimal increase before we even knew the difference.
